The Pride of Donegal
The Royal Guards use a distinctive color scheme for their ‘Mechs and vehicles: a base of Steiner blue with a gold stripe down each side. Additionally, weapon barrels are painted gold, as are hatches and sensors.

Artist Notes
The Mini was primed with Army Painter (AP) Black spray primer. The whole mini was base-coated in Vallejo Model Color (VMC) Gunmetal Blue, then dry-brushed with VMC Deep Sky Blue. The outsides of the arms and legs, the weapon barrels, and the hands were all painted with Vallejo Game Color Glorious Gold, then washed with a homemade Sepia Wash made using Liquitex Sepia Ink, VMC Matte Base, and Flow Improver. The cockpit was base coated with VMC Flat Red, then highlighted with VMC Scarlet, then a small dot of VMC Cold White. The medium laser was painted with VMC Flat Green. Finally, a Steiner decal was applied to the right shoulder, and a number decal was applied to the left shoulder.
