Artist Notes
This is a conversion of the CGL Linebacker. I used Solitaire Main Gun bits from IWM to create the Plasma Cannons. The T Configuration has the same missile tube pattern as the Prime so I did not change them.
Besides the Lyran and Stormhammer decals, each Stormhammer model I painted also has one identifying it as either the Tharkan Strikers or Lyran Rangers sub-commands.
- Primer: GW Mechanicus Grey
- Base Colors: I used a selection of different blues and greys. The main grey is GW Eshin Grey and the main blue is GW Macragge. I also used GW Russ and Fenris Greys. Because the canon description is just “dark” shades you have a great degree of flexibility here to adjust to your personal taste.
- Shade: Nuln Oil
- Drybrushing: GW Dry Grey
