I started with a basecoat of white (Warpaint&#8217;s Matt White); this may take up to 3-4 coats to get full coverage. Then I began the freehand with a gloss red (DecoArt&#8217;s True Red). Just go slow and this freehand isn&#8217;t too bad, I just used small brushstrokes and followed the pattern as best I could. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After that I painted the steel details using Citadel&#8217;s Leadbelcher, and then gave the whole mini a wash in Nuln Oil.
