ComStar
ComStar was formed in the aftermath of the Star League’s collapse. The organization was left in control of Terra and the Inner Sphere’s HPG communications network. For the following centuries, they maintained an appearance of neutrality while manipulating the course of history for the shadows. In response to the appearance of the Clans, they revealed their secret army, the Com Guards, and won the Battle of Tukayyid in order to stop the invasion. Attempts to reform the organization following Tukayyid resulted in a schism with the Word of Blake forming from those who did not believe in ComStar’s new path forward. After the destruction of the Word of Blake’s Jihad, ComStar was left weakened and untrusted.
