Artist Notes

This miniature was re-posed, using a hobby knife and green stuff, to raise the leg to rest on an enemy ‘Mech. The toes were re-posed to curl around the sides of the base.

The base coat is a 1:1 mix of Wyvern Green and Barbarian Brown (Two Thin Coats), blended toward Woodland Camo (Army Painter) in the lighted areas. A wash of Marine Juice was then applied. Edge highlighting was done with 1:1 Woodland Camo to Matt White.

The yellow accents were blocked out with orange to serve as an undercoat. 1:1 Orange Flare to Yellow Flame (Two Thin Coats) was applied next, blended toward pure Yellow Flame. Edge highlights for these areas are Yellow Flame/Matt White.

The metallic portions of this mini were painted using a Non-Metallic Metal (NMM) technique.

The base was constructed from air-dry modeling cement for the cracked concrete, and coffee grounds and sand were glued within the gaps between slabs. The ‘Mech featured in the base was modified from a Hammerhead premium miniature, and is painted in Clan Hell’s Horses Fire Horse colors.
