Artist Notes
Mini was primed black and then masked with Tamiya masking tape of varying sizes. A zenithal airbrush coat of Vallejo Blood Red, followed by a tighter vertical zenithal coat of Vallejo red ink, was used to achieve the gradient on vertical surfaces. Mini was washed with Army Painter Dark Tone afterward. The Heat sinks were painted white, then jeweled with Army Painter Speed Paints in yellow, orange, and red in progressively smaller portions on the outer areas of the heat sink surface. Metallic surfaces are Vallejo silver under the Dark Tone wash.
