Artist Notes
1. Rattlecan black primer with a white airbrush zenithal highlight
2. Airbrush base coat of AK German Grey and drybrush highlight of VMC Basalt Grey
3. Apply accents and lens/cockpit jeweling
4. Spot application of gloss varnish for decals then apply decals
5. All over gloss varnish
6. Apply oil wash, let dry for a few hours then selectively remove the wash from raised surfaces while letting the wash stay in the recesses and undersides of the model
7. Matte varnish and final corrective touch-ups
8. Basing: Apply basing texture and rocks. Once dry, base coat with VMC Dark Umber, heavy drybrush of VMC Mahogany Brown, light drybrush of VMC Red Leather, and apply thinned PA Brown Grey wash, avoiding the larger rocks. Larger rocks have a final drybrush of WPF Dusty Skull
