The machines of Fox Khanate are painted grey-green. Accents are reddish-brown in color, and are applied in patterns resembling the tattoos used by Polynesian cultures on ancient Terra.

Artist Notes
This Mini was an exercise in both hand mixed paint, and attempted freehand. The paints I used for the main colors were craft paints, predominantly Apple Barrel or FolkArt brands, and the main mint green was hand mixed. I started with a mix of tan, green and white, which with a bit of fiddling, was able to roughly match the mint green of Fox Kahnate.
After the base coat was on came the “fun” part. Using a small brush and a steady hand, I painted small lines of brown over the base coat in imitation of the tattoos that are described. Once that was done, I painted details, cockpits and covered the mech in wash. The base was a combination of standard texture paste, and a blue base coat covered in gloss varnish in imitation of water
