Scheme Inspiration
A “retired” pirate from a Hinterlands mercenary company with mismatched components on the left arm and leg.
Artist Notes
Painted using Army Painter Warpaints Fanatic line. Started by priming the miniature white with a rattle can. The base coat was in Guardian Green (Royal Blue for the miss matched leg). After the base coat I made a black/dark/oily wash using 1 part Matt Black to 2-3 parts Wash Medium thinning with water as needed, and covered the entire model to darken the panel lines. After the wash was fully dried I dry brushed the edges with Wild Green (Bright Sapphire on the blue leg). Metallic details were picked out with Gun Metal for the actuators, hands, feet, ect and the left arm armor plates were based with Mythril. Metallic areas were dulled a bit with more of the black wash and the checkers were added with Matt Black and Brainmatter Beige. The black rocket pods were accented with Brigade Grey using a toothpick. The laser lenses and cockpit were based with Matt White and painted with Data System Glow and Lens Flare Glow respectively. Final step was to clean up the base and paint the facing with Guardian Green.
